Embark on an Exciting Treasure Hunt on the New Pirate Island
Stories of bold pirates searching for treasure and sailing the seven seas have captured children's imagination for generations. The dream of becoming a pirate and the hero of epic adventures can come true in the playroom with the PLAYMOBIL pirate theme. Ever since the first PLAYMOBIL pirate ship was launched in 1978, the just under 3-inch-tall buccaneers have been included in the product line of Germany's largest toy manufacturer.
In August 2012, a new generation of PLAYMOBIL pirates will be launched. This new line will be centered around a mysterious Pirate Adventure Island. Both pirates and Redcoat soldiers want to reach the island first and capture the legendary treasure. But, the treasure cave will only open when the magic coins have been found and the mystery of the fire code has been solved. This is not as easy as it sounds, as many dangers and obstacles await the intruders. Who will be the first to find the hidden treasure?
The Pirates Commander has discovered a treasure map and notified the captain. The Pirates Ship sets sail straight away. As soon as they reach the island, the crew goes ashore in the Pirates Rowboat, pursued by a hammerhead shark. But it won't be as easy as they planned to grab the pirate booty. A treacherous swamp, a bewildering bamboo maze, and a hidden staircase hamper the crew's journey to the treasure cave. To top things off, the Redcoat soldiers have caught wind of the precious treasure and are heading from the Soldiers Fort with Dungeon to the Pirate Adventure Island in the Redcoat Battle Ship to claim the treasure for themselves. And, so begins an action-packed race!
Once they arrive at the treasure cave, the pirates believe they have won the race. But the real challenge still awaits the buccaneers – a mysterious electronic fire code with light and sound is built into the rocks. Before the door in the rocks will open, all of the magic coins hidden around the island must be collected and laid down in the correct order in front of the treasure cave. The pirate crew had better be vigilant! If the coins are not laid down in the order that the flames lit up beneath the five magic symbols, they should be prepared for anything. The first mistake only raises the alarm, but the second mistake is punished more severely, and the pirates have to step aside quickly to avoid the falling rocks.
The pirates are growing desperate. If only the pirate captain wasn't so forgetful, the door in the rocks would have been opened by now. Now the second attempt has failed, and the Redcoat soldiers are getting closer and closer to the island. A pirate rows back quickly to the large Pirates Ship to fetch the joker coin fixed to the guardrail, which helps to solve the pirate code more easily. But the Redcoat soldiers have already brought a joker coin with them from the fort. How the story ends is up to the imagination of pirates both big and small. Treasure ahoy!
The PLAYMOBIL experts from Zimdorf, Germany, have combined creative role play with an exciting memory game in the new PLAYMOBIL pirate theme. A great adventure awaits – with pirates, Redcoats and tricky puzzles ahead. A wide range of accessories is also available to complete this playtime theme.
